My story is the story of my family, or rather of my father Mario who, born in Orgosolo in 1932, already at the age of 13, having finished primary school, begins to work ‘in the shop’ in his own country. here that his profession and his passion for wood grow hand in hand until the 1960s when he decides to move to Nuoro where he will build his family, with 8 children, and his own business.

As he often told me, these were difficult times, but full of enthusiasm, full of challenges and desire to do; intense and tiring years during which, however, he manages to carve out his space, years in which requests grow, production increases and in which he arrives in the 70s, where brick by brick comes the workshop he owns.

And in that workshop at the end of the 80s I will start to attend constantly, compatibly with my school commitments, and in which I train as a craftsman and as a man alongside my father, and where I still carry on together with two of my brothers what was his job.
